Getting started
Create content with Quick Creator
Quick Creator lets you start common content from the CMS dashboard without opening several menus. You can save a draft or publish it, then use the full editor whenever you need more settings.
What you can create
Which options are available in Quick Creator?
Depending on your permissions and the modules enabled for the website, Quick Creator can show:
- Page for permanent website pages;
- Post for news or blog content;
- Product for a shop item;
- Booking page for a bookable service; and
- Event for a dated event.
You see only the content types that your role is allowed to manage. Product requires the Shop module. Booking page and Event require the Bookings module.
Create a draft or publish
How do I create something from the dashboard?
- Open the CMS Dashboard.
- In Quick Creator, choose the content type at the top of the editor.
- Enter a title.
- Choose a category when that content type supports categories.
- Complete any fields shown for that type, such as product price, booking price, location, event date or start time.
- Add an optional excerpt and the main content. The formatting toolbar uses the same content editor as the full editing screens.
- Under Images, choose an optional main image and gallery images from the Media Library.
- Select Save draft to keep it unpublished, or Publish to make it active.
Wait for the save to finish before leaving the page. Nune creates the item using sensible defaults for fields that are not shown in Quick Creator.
Continue in the full editor
When should I use the full editor instead?
Quick Creator is intended for a fast first version. Open the saved item in its normal Pages, Posts, Shop, Bookings or Events area when you need detailed settings that are not shown on the dashboard.
Examples include advanced layout and visibility choices, SEO details, product variations or fulfilment, and more detailed booking or event configuration. The available settings depend on the content type and enabled modules.
Quick Creator and the help assistant
The Need help? Ask Nune assistant can explain how Nune features work using the published Help Centre. It is read-only: it does not fill in Quick Creator, publish content or change your website. You review and save every change yourself.
If an option is missing
Why can I not see a content type or use Quick Creator?
- If a content type is missing, check that its module is enabled and that your role has permission to manage it.
- If no creator options appear, ask an account owner or website administrator to review your access.
- If an image is unavailable, upload it to the Media Library first and then return to Quick Creator.
- If you need a setting that is not shown, save a draft and complete it in the full editor.
